When I say comedy saved my life,
I mean it quite literally.
But what I didn’t expect…
is what it became—
Two sold-out shows in two countries.
Two moms of toddlers who camped out without tickets to bank on no-shows for their seats.
Two couples who flew from Singapore to Perth just to catch it— because the Singapore show had already sold out. 😭

Later, I learned that one of those couples booked their flights within a day of scoring last-minute tickets, just so they could be there last weekend. 🥹😭
Comedy saved my life because I’d almost forgotten—
that just months ago, I was wilting in a trauma (cPTSD) vortex, unable to cope.
On the days my mind and body had shut down, rehearsing for an hour a day was the one thing I could do to shift my body out of fear— to laugh and gain agency over things that held power over me.
When I say comedy saved my life,
I don’t just mean the hours spent processing trauma,
writing jokes, and practicing lines with emotion and theatrics— I mean how it gave me an alternate identity
beyond the one I felt I was failing in.
I mean that it brought me into deeper connection—
that it gave me the language to express gratitude
to people like you who continue to root for us,
wherever you are in the world.🌏
In particular, I loved how this Perth show brought together people from so many places around the world! 🇦🇺 🇸🇬 🇲🇾 🇬🇧 🇮🇳 🇨🇳 🇹🇼 🇭🇰 🇯🇵 🇮🇩 🇻🇳🇨🇦
More than a handful of you have asked if I’ll take this to more cities.
The truth is—I’d love to.
If God opens the doors, I’ll be more than ready to say yes.
And if not, I’ll continue doing what we always have been doing- living a day at a time wherever we’ve been called, hanging by a thread of God’s grace.
Thank you for journeying with us, around the world. 💛🥹
