In so many ways, Perth has been so healing.
This tremendous rainbow, spotted on my daily morning walk after the previous night of heavy hearted reflections on our housing challenges in East Africa, was the first of many little felt-miracles through this week. š
I call these āfelt-miraclesā because itās so easy for others to dismiss what we experience as genuine God-encounters as mere coincidence or luck.
But IYKYK.

A day after Iād shared our housing challenges on the field, this was the incredible rainbow that appeared over the sea on my morning walk. I ran home to take a photo of it from our balcony, while being overwhelmed by the fact that up to now, we are living in a home of a stranger whose kindness has been a channel of Godās blessing in our lives.

I used to work my body really hard every morning at 5:45am at the gymā but since over a year ago after I stopped and replaced that with a morning walk with God, Iāve found Him meeting me in deep places through nature and wildlifeā¦.
⦠through endangered animal sightings like the colugo (flying squirrel) and pangolin in Singapore multiple times when I needed a touch of His assurance the most⦠through mountain and dikdik (a kind of deer) sightings in Tanzania and this timeā¦
⦠on a rainy frigid morning, when everyone stayed home because of the temperamental weather, I continued my routine and found to my surprise, on an ordinary morning stroll by the beach, a pod of dolphins swimming and bobbing close to the shore š
I guess we all have ways we feel close to God, and sense His presence close to usā and mine has always been personal love letters from Him in the form of wildlife sightings, when Iām all alone.
What are some ways God has made Himself so real to you? šš
