Many of us hate uncertainty.
The tension of being in the dark, of not knowing when or how the next breakthrough will come…
can be a hard thing to hold.
But I’m learning, that being in the dark is just being on the other side of light.
As we wait in moonlight,
awash with hope,
we can be certain of this—
Dawn will come.
This year, I discovered how hard it is for most of us to live in uncertainty.
Yet, in the times I could, in the times I thrived through it,
it was because I could be certain, amid uncertainty, that God was painting a masterpiece far bigger than my eyes could see.
My job was,
is… to trust.
To stand back and realize that both moon and sun can co-exist in the tension of twilight- and that their uncertain stature at once is a beauty to be celebrated.
