“Oh, of course God has a purpose for what I’m going through.”
Somehow, in front of others, we all find the chutzpah to say those words.
But when the weight of uncertainty feels too heavy for two open palms to hold, what then?
After my operation, when pain persisted, dark thoughts besieged me from time to time.
What if, underneath all of that thick theology, was a dawning realization that God, with patience worn thin, couldn’t be trusted?
If you’re struggling to make sense of God’s love for you but are too afraid to ask the “silly question,” I hope this encourages you. 💛
