It’s easy to talk about one’s achievements and victories.
Possibly my least favorite topic, my personal journey through the valleys has not been one easy to share. Yet over the years, as God continued do His healing work in me, I could not ignore the fact that He brings us through different seasons for a reason.
As opportunities to speak at various platforms become more plentiful, I have had to be wise to take up only those I felt God leading me to, and politely decline the rest.
Although this was a last minute decision, I could not ignore His still small voice and His concerted working through various people to encourage me to do a reprint of Rainbow, and to speak to young women at this upcoming event.
Entitled “Daughters, Arise!“, Kallos Conference 2015 birthed from a desire to raise a generation of princess warriors armed with the knowledge of their royal identity to pursue their God-given destinies. Featuring authentic and heartfelt sharing by older female role models, such as Ps. Jennifer Heng and Singer/Songwriter Alarice Thio, topics include purity and pursuing a God-given destiny.
I will be speaking on 22 Dec on my journey through depression, anorexia, healing and overcoming, to discover God’s call for my life. The last few hundred copies of “A Taste of Rainbow”, a picture book I launched after my recovery, will also be given away before its upcoming reprint.
If you know a young woman (13-19 years) who will be blessed by this,
feel free to share the Kallos conference details.
