A busy week visiting two hospitals, at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
As I look back, I realize my “long dark tunnel” of waiting really has been a long season of preparation for this… and even now, waiting continues to be a theme of our lives-
Waiting for answers,
for breakthroughs regarding job fits and homes and schools…
Yet we can trust that at the right time, God will reveal them.
Our duty now, is simply to let Him take the wheel and enjoy the ride.

How surreal to be in this place.
After months of waiting and waiting with no responses, it was only after we said yes to this crazy adventure, that doors flung open wide for us to be here.
Sometimes in the waiting, God is refining our hearts.
Sometimes in the waiting, God is working on our behalf.
