If you feel unsuccessful, try this-
1. Write down a list of things you would have if you were successful. Really sit down and immerse yourself in the fantasy of feeling wildly successful on your own terms, without judging yourself or imposing any “should”s.
2. Look at your list. Feel the crushing weight of defeat and the vast gap that stands between that and where you are now. It’s okay to tear up, really.
3. Close your eyes. Ask God to show you what His definition of success is. Write that down.
Your revelation will be different from mine and that is what makes it special for you.
4. Ask God to give you the INTEGRITY to live a wholehearted life, one without duplicity, without gaps between the outward markers of success and the person you are inside.
Perhaps, true success is lived only when we come to terms with who we are on the inside and how we live on the outside.
I’m learning – that God doesn’t require we build large followings or do great things the way men define “great things.”
After all, to the one He gave two talents and five talents, His commendation “Well done, good and faithful servant,” was the same whether they multiplied them to four or ten talents respectively. What this tells us- is that He cares less about tangible outward markers of “success,” and more about our hearts, our faithful stewardship. 💛✨
Try this, and I’d love to hear how this spoke to you. ❤️
