While many people know my firstborn’s English name (Sarah-Faith), few know her Chinese name— 心恩，which literally means “heart” and “grace.”
As she turns 6 today, I think about the many risky, irrational decisions we made during pregnancy and after her birth, and am in awe at the miracles which always spoke the same message, “God’s unmerited favor (grace) is enough to cover your lack.”
If unmerited favor were for free, which it is, how would you live life differently?
Would you take the risks, walked the less trodden paths you might otherwise have avoided, had you not known how lavish God’s grace is for you? 💛🎁
