Just a day ago, I lay on my sofa, immobilized in pain from an injury that spanned multiple muscles in my ribs and back. I couldn’t walk, breathe nor sit without pain.
Today, I’m grateful for the chance to stand, to breathe, to be here amidst people who made time and space to be here.
Thank you for all your support 🥹💛
Touched to meet blog followers who shared,
“you’ve been a silent mentor to me through your blog for over 8 years, it’s surreal to meet you in person.”
But a night ago, I could not sleep. I lay awake, imagining the exhibit being taken down, my heart bursting with gratitude yet weighed with heaviness.
This gift from an IG follower, whom I got to meet at the exhibition, touched me deeply.
I will never forget her words, “Thank you for being a light to me and many. My doctor gave your book to me when I was in recovery from my eating disorder. Since then, I’ve been so grateful for your words.”
To any of you out there struggling with an eating disorder, please remember there is so much HOPE in your future. One day, you’ll be sharing YOUR story to help others, too.
Grateful for all the wonderful supporters and people who came down to support, love and encourage us 💛💛
