For years, I struggled with the idea of having fun. Cliff always shared that if I was “not working,” it was always still doing something purposeful.
My argument was that we only have one life. There’s no time to waste.
But this trip here has been a process of “UNDOING”- whenever I want to drive forwards, something out of my control crops up. Work stalls. I’m left in the lurch.
And I feel God inviting me to go with His flow. To stop resisting. To quit trying to take the harder path always.
Because He also delights in us having fun (gasp).
And His language is JOY.
