Grateful for our Norweigian missionary friends who taught us how to make our own bread.

In a place where good bread isn’t found at stores easily, this has been a gamechanger!
I didn’t believe him when he said it was effortless to make, but it truly is.
All you need to do is prep this the evening before (it takes 3 min, with no need to knead), let it rise overnight, and pop it into the oven the next morning while you work out/prep for the day etc, and you have fresh bread on the table!
- 3 C all purpose flour
- 1 C coarse wheat flour
- Half tsp yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- ~1.5 C water
- Mix dry and wet ingredients together.
- Let dough rise overnight for 10 hours.
- Divide into 6-7 lumps.
- Bake at 200 degrees for 15-20 min.
