In the last season of our lives, God has done so much for us: from having the privilege of seeing His incredible masterpieces of nature in a Spring season of rest in Canada, and allowing nature’s beauty to heal us; to seeing Cliff’s healthcare and medication issues get sorted out (he received 14 months worth of medication for free-that’s $6000 right there covered); to sharing God’s love with Cliff’s mum and seeing her so joyful to receive His love; to being invited to share at churches who hardly know us but have extended warm hospitality, generosity and deep prayers for us… These events and more have touched our hearts and healed our burnt-out souls.
We are ready for the next chapter.
At present, in the last few days of our stay here in Singapore, many loose ends still await to be tied, many unknowns still lay ahead, question marks on where we will be in a year’s time still exist (when will baby come, can/will my bond be paid off for us to serve longer in the field- for the rest of our lives perhaps?) … But we know that as long as we trust in God, He will sort all things out, according to His plan, His ways and His purpose.
Time has healed us, and though I still encounter moments that turn on tears from what I perceive to have lost, much of my grieving has come to an end.
Have you been grieving through a personal loss, for some time, as well?
Know that God’s healing takes time, and if you let Him, He will give you the strength to walk on ahead in your journey.
Will you join me in trusting God?

you will get into a muddle.
Live the life of a child and you will find that every haphazard occasion
fits into God’s order.”
