Sometimes, you make special friends all around the world when you least expect it.
A few years ago, when I was deployed by UNICEF as a Covid-19 consultant to help wit the outbreak in Swaziland, Africa, that was the first time I wrote to the editor at Propel Women (Christine Caine’s ministry), who turned out to be Bronwyn.
Who knew she’d come from South Africa, just a stone’s throw away from where I was deployed for a hard, lonely 6 weeks, and our special friendship budded.
We never met, until she invited me to attend a women’s conference up in California, right on the date I’d been praying about doing a book tour in the States for Dream Brave.
Through her invitation, God opened up an entire 3-week book tour through North America. You can imagine the tears that gushed out of our eyes when we finally met in person.
Bronwyn’s heart is so big that it reaches every person through her stories. It’s through her that I was asked to come on Christine Caine’s podcast— and had the courage to start my own. I hope you’ll enjoy the podcast!
