If you’ve ever struggled with feeling valued because of what you’re paid, you’re not alone.
Think about the work you do as a parent and/ or child at home- chores, errands, to love on your family.
That missionary doctors in jungle hospitals do.
That YOU do on a day-to-day basis.
I often remind myself- that just because we’re not paid for what we do, doesn’t make it less meaningful, impactful or valuable.
Some of my most “highly paid” days were in the most toxic, unforgiving environments where I felt most unwelcome. Yet, some of my unpaid projects became the ones that etched LOVE large on my heart and changed my life forever.
Remember, the value of your work isn’t determined by a number someone else places on it. It’s determined by your level of faithfulness and obedience. We serve God, not man.
Col 3:17 says: “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
I hope this encourages you, friend 💛you’re not alone.
