On many days like today, when a dream feels far away, I try to close my eyes and remember the dream-shaped vision God first gave me.
On days like today, when the week starts off with a series of bad news, I try to remember that truly, our dreams can never be more than what our human strength can muster.
Because we are so limited. We get tired. We grow weary. We look at our five loaves and the five thousand and say to ourselves, “What did I get myself into?”
But it is precisely in moments like these, when we most need to remember the faint whisper we first heard. That whisper that grew into a clarion call. That nudging that blossomed to an unshakeable stirring.
The truth is- the world doesn’t need more dreamers. It has plenty.
What it needs is men and women brave enough to say yes and obey.
To obey at once. And to be faithful to plough through the dark.
Would you close your eyes and say yes to Him again?
