When we first moved in, shriveled vines covered an entire part of our garden.

Instead of looking at the awful reminder of unkempt, unthriving mess, I asked for the vines to be chopped off.
But a friend said, “No, don’t. Just wait and see.”
Today, months later, dozens of luxurious violet morning glory blooms erupt every dawn.

It made me think— how often do we look at the mess in our lives and think of uprooting, destroying, clearing it away? If only we could just wipe out our past, right?
But I’m learning and am reminded today— that the mess in our lives might just be the prelude to something beautiful in another season.
Would you wait and see?
