I’m learning, that often, when it rains, it pours.
But as a leader, when you’re leading people, you have to put the storms in your own life away to do what’s best for others and put them above yourself.
Sadly, to come to terms with my own flaws and failings as a leader, has been a crushing experience.
I’m learning- that the sooner we come to terms with our shortcomings and blind spots as a leader, the sooner we can rectify it.
We grew up in school learning about leadership as a mountaintop experience. But in many ways, its loneliness in the valleys is closer to reality.
Perhaps it was made to bring us closer to Christ.
