So touched that our 6-year old came home with a card from her teacher detailing how responsible she has been in her first weeks in class.
Just imagining the time her teacher took to hand write all these precious notes just fills my heart with gratitude.
We ended up taking a leaf from her teacher by doing the same for our 4-year old, who beamed knowing she was just as special too.
I love how it became something my older firstborn felt proud to do for her little sis too – to give her praise and credit for who she was becoming.
Then today at noon, I totally freaked out when my firstborn’s teacher called. My first thought was that something bad had happened.
But it was just that her teacher wanted to learn more about my child and say hello.
All I can say is— God answered our prayers for teachers from heaven.
Cliff and I were saying how maybe this could be new family tradition we learn from our firstborn’s school- writing notes to each of our children highlighting a value they were growing into and reflecting
