I must admit, that returning to continent of Africa, with all its pains, traumas, delights & joys before, was a little emotional.
All my adult life I’ve prayed that someday I’d be in the field with my family. This comes pretty close

For this trip, some commented what a waste it would be for us not to catch the Serengeti safari. The truth is that- we will likely miss it. Cost is a major factor, and our time is focused largely on attending the healthcare conference and meeting key people to discern our next steps. Yet, it’s through these little surprises with animals and our kids’ pure delight that help us realize how mindful God is for our kids to still have a memorable experience. Someday, we still hope to catch the Serengeti, but in His way and time.
