Last night when I couldn’t sleep (urgh there’s been too many of those lately), I lay on the sofa pondering the magnitude of our family decision, the challenges ahead and then realized, “I don’t have to do this alone.”
Today, when we spent family time discussing what our move might look like, it was our children who gave so many good suggestions on how we should prepare ourselves and what we should pray for. 💛
I’m learning —how my kids are not a burden, but a strength when we intentionally involve them to pray for what God is leading us to.
It’s so easy to dismiss them as being “too little to understand”- but would you consider involving them to pray for your big life decisions too?
I loved it when we ended in a round of prayer for all the items.
Our children are never “too little” when it comes to matters of faith-
Their simple childlike faith, in fact, often exceeds ours
💛
I’m looking forward to more nights of sound sleep, knowing that my worries are not mine to bear alone.
They are His, and we’re all in this together
💛
