Just this morning as I packed our luggage, deep in thought, my 4-year old, watchful, said aloud, wagging her finger, “There is no Mummy like you.”
“What?”
“There is no Mummy kind like you. To pack for us.”
As I looked into her eyes I wanted to break the news that actually, all mummies do this. But I didn’t. I savored what she said and took it in.
