So often, I ask myself- why do we bother with seeking a humanitarian job role outside of Singapore in a developing context?
Job application is tedious.
Relocation is hard.
Mission deployment can be brutal.
I honestly don’t know if we’ll thrive, or crash and burn.
But the same way why I don’t understand why we do triathlon, I can’t quite explain this pursuit either.
All I know is- both Cliff and I feel inexplicably drawn to the great unknown, to fulfill a mission greater than both our dreams put together.
It’s like God’s heart calling out to us, a voice from the depths of the ocean, saying, “Enter in. Trust Me.”
