Just before we married, when you had that liver crisis, I remember pleading with God for three good years of marriage.
Now that almost a decade has gone past, with us having traipsed around the world on journeys of adventure and pain, and now with two little munchkins in our lives, I give thanks to God for our 9th wedding anniversary, just gone past.
To my best friend, life coach, spiritual leader, (ex)-triathlon mate, and the best husband anyone could ask for, thank you for redefining leadership, servanthood, sonship and fatherhood- for always pushing me to drink more deeply and live more fully each day.
Indeed, as you have wished- one day, God-willing, we will ride – just the two of us- again
