After more than a year of waiting on God, Savour, my 4th and latest book, has finally been published.
Written to challenge our ideals of success, it was borne from my journey of struggle, tears and joy as I grappled with the allures that worldly success held, and rediscovered the meaning of what it means to live a purposeful life, through pursuing God’s call in the mission field.
Over the past few weeks, I have been grateful to have had the opportunities to speak at various platforms, most memorably at the National Young Leaders Day 2015 Conference, where around 650 students from various schools in Singapore gathered to be inspired and challenged to live a more meaningful life.

Some have asked me, “How can I make a contribution to the books? What cause does it support?”
This time, Cliff and I have decided to channel all contributions received from the books to helping refugees in crisis and the needy all around the world.
Since returning from Uganda and coming so close to the face of poverty, strife and violence, I know that in spite of our distance, we can make a difference to lives that are real.
Having had to move homes several times since we embarked on our journey in missions, often with uncertainty and fear, I can only imagine the agony of the homeless, and those who died trying to find one.
Refugees are not just statistics. They are people whose lives have been torn apart by factors outside their control. There is a crisis around the world, with any many as 19.5 million refugees seeking protection and security.
“Savour” was written to impact lives, for us to reconsider what our ideals of success really are. As we do so, let us not forget the global responsibility we have to make a difference to someone else’s life.
Through your love gift, lives will be restored through hope and dignity around the world through the work of our partnered beneficiaries UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) and other missionaries serving the needy.
You can visit www.kitesong.sg/savour to see where you can pick up copies, or write to us at [email protected] to find out how you can make a contribution.
Join us this weekend at Cornerstone Community Church for our services, where there’ll be a book-signing table too 🙂
