The greatest prize, was neither the publicity or trophy, but seeing the photos of my parents beaming with pride at the award ceremony, as they collected the award of Singapore Woman Award Honoree 2015 on my behalf.

To all the women out there who are
daughters, mothers, carers and silently impacting the world tirelessly, self-sacrificially,
know that this honor belongs to you too.
I am learning, that it is neither the awards we collect, nor the prizes we win on earth that count for eternity,
but the relationships we made, the lives we touched,
and the relationship we developed with Jesus that counts the most of all.
The great prize was seeing my parents’ smiles, beaming away on stage.
And my greatest prize, is still Jesus.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth,
where moths and vermin destroy,
and where thieves break in and steal.
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where moths and vermin do not destroy,
and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
– Matthew 6:19-21
